Looking Forward To…

We are working hard on getting the 2023 Spring Conference ready for everyone. There are so many things to look forward to: back to a two-day conference, seeing everyone in person, and more. What are your MCTM Elementary, Middle School and High School Vice-Presidents looking forward to?

Elementary VP Laura Wageman: 

  1. Connecting with other teachers who love kids and equitable math instruction/experiences
  2. Learning new strategies and ideas
  3. Meeting Juli K. Dixon and Thomasenia Lott Adams

 

Middle School VP Becky Rahm:

  1.  Being with other math teachers who teach the same content I do.  Being from a smaller district, I miss out on those experiences.
  2. Hearing Peter speak and having time to learn more about/brainstorm next action steps with BTC.
  3. I’m looking forward to the calculus sessions as well as the sessions by MDE to hear updates from them.

High School VP Jessica Strom:

  1. Meeting and hearing Peter Liljedahl in person!
  2. Hearing Saturday’s Keynote: Math for all Minnesota
  3. Enjoying a two-day conference again!
