Meet your Regional Directors!

Hello!  My name is Dawn Dibley and I’m the Region 3 director for MCTM.  Region 3 includes eighteen school districts from Eden Prairie to South Washington County and Stillwater to Northfield.  You can access a list of the school districts in Region 3 from this page http://www.mctm.org/directors.php  

I work for the Rosemount – Apple Valley – Eagan school district (ISD 196), as a math coach for elementary special education teachers.  My personal goal is for all teachers to believe that all students can learn math. Prior to this position, which I’ve held for 11 years, I was a special education teacher, working with students with autism and cognitive disabilities.  Prior to that, I worked as a Music Therapist for 18 years. Needless to say, when I was a music major at the University of Minnesota, I never imagined myself in the role I have today. I learn more about math and math education every day and I owe much of my growth to connections I have made through MCTM.  If you work in Region 3, please let me know how MCTM can help you as a math teacher. Hello!  My name is Jesús Sandoval and I am the Region 6 director for MCTM.  Region 6 includes 27 school districts from Wayzata to Sauk Rapids-Rice.  You can access a list of the school districts in Region 6 from this page http://mctm.org/directors.php.

I am entering my third and final year as the Regional 6 director and have enjoyed being apart of the board of directors for MCTM.  I have connected with educators across the region and state and continue to find ways to help support students and improve mathematics instruction.  In addition to being apart of MCTM I currently am an assistant principal at Tech High School in Saint Cloud School District 742.
