Wrapping Up a Successful Annual Conference in Duluth

The Minnesota Council of Teachers of Mathematics and Minnesota Mathematics Association of Two-Year Colleges held their annual Minnesota Spring Mathematics Conference May 4-5, 2018, at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center.

Thank you to everyone who helped make it a success, including the presenters, the volunteers, the DECC and the City of Duluth. But most importantly, thank you to the MCTM and MINNMATYC members who brought their desire to improve mathematics education for all students.

The Friday keynote speaker was Paul Gorski, with “Strengthening Our Equity Literacy: Principles and Strategies for Creating Equitable and Just Schools”
