Swimming, Treading or Drowning

As we work through this challenging time in education and our lives. Whether you are in distance, hybrid or in person learning I am guessing that you have felt the emotions of that you are drowning in the sea of information and teaching within the requirements for us math educators. I hope that you have had the opportunity to become better at a particular task and feel like you are swimming along with everything. Then lastly I hope that you are at least treading water as you survive these challenges we are facing.

Tuesday Teaching Tips is coming to you to assist in the challenges you face. MCTM is supporting the opportunity to share ideas and tips via MCTM Facebook and Twitter. We know staring at a screen again after hours may not be what we want to do. However we are looking for members to share an idea or tip that has worked well for them in their classroom. Please check in on Tuesdays as the thread and topic for the week will be started. Add your thoughts, see what others have shared. Hopefully you will see something that will spark an interest for you and your classroom. Or share an idea and be the spark for a fellow math educator in the state.

Take care everyone and we will get through this together.
