The Higher Learning Commission has adopted new rules/regulations concerning instructors of mathematics at post secondary institutions. Bemidji State University has put together a variety of graduate level mathematics courses to help individuals meet these new requirements.
As President of MCTM, I am hoping to see each of you in Duluth April 29-30th, 2016 for our annual conference. My favorite part of conferences is the opportunity to network with math teachers from around the state that inspire me. The best ideas and most effective change I’ve made in my own classroom has often come from the people I meet in Duluth each year.

TMC stands for Twitter Math Camp and it is a conference run by teachers, for teachers. The participants, speakers and organizers communicate year round via Twitter, blogs and other social media. This 4-day conference in July is a chance for everyone to get together for face to face interactions.

MCTM CONNECT is a resource provided by MCTM to make sure beginning teachers feel supported and connected to the profession. Our biggest event is the CONNECT Session which is held from 7:00-9:00 PM this year on Thursday, April 28, the evening before the MCTM Spring Conference in Duluth, at the DECC.
