An hour of your time might be worth…

Spend an hour of your time filling out a simple preliminary application, and you may be on the road to winning $25,000!  There’s still time to apply for the 2015 Rosenthal Prize for Innovation in Math Teaching.  MoMath is looking for an exceptional math activity to share with educators around the country.  The winning activity will be engaging, hands-on, original, replicable, and designed for students in grades four through eight.  The Rosenthal Prize carries a cash award of $25,000 for the single best activity, plus several additional monetary awards for other creative activities.

If you’re a full-time fourth- through twelfth-grade math teacher at an accredited school in the United States, you’re eligible to apply for the Rosenthal Prize!  However, the winning activity must be designed for grades four through eight.  Preliminary applications are due Tuesday, May 19, 2015.  For more information about the prize, including a link to the application portal, please visit rosenthalprize.momath.org.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out via email to rosenthalprize@momath.org, or to call the Museum’s administrative offices at (212) 542-0566.  We look forward to hearing from you!
