One Week Course: Entrepreneurship and Design-Thinking for Teachers

Entrepreneurship & Design-Thinking for Teachers

July 10-14, University of Minnesota, St. Paul

This brand new, one-week course immerses teachers in design-thinking and lean startup methodology concepts using a hands-on curriculum to promote entrepreneurship with their students. Teachers will learn to encourage and value creativity, divergent thinking, and informed risk-taking in their students.

In addition to the course, teachers will receive on-going mentorship and resources during the school year while they implement the curriculum, and during the spring of 2018, MCEE will host a tradeshow for participants’ students to share their prototypes and startup ventures. High school Ag instructors are especially encouraged to register. Registration is $80 and all participants will receive a $150 stipend and 35 CEUs upon completing the full course. Read more at www.mcee.umn.edu/node/796.
