OLPA Information and Resources

The Optional Local Purpose Assessment (OLPA) will be administered this school year for the last time. The testing window opens on Monday, October 17th, 2016, and closes on Friday, February 10th, 2017. Talk to your School Assessment Coordinator or District Assessment Coordinator to see if your school is administering OLPA.

The OLPA math test is optional and can be administered twice during the window to any student in grades 3–8. Math grade 11 OLPA is only administered once. Every item on this test aligns to the Minnesota benchmarks and has been approved by Minnesota teachers. This test also provides on-demand score reports for every student that takes the test.
