MCTM Executive Director Announcement

In January 2016 Tom Muchlinski announced he would be stepping down as MCTM’s longtime Executive Director this summer. During the April 29-30th MCTM conference in Duluth we will be honoring Tom for his contributions to our organization. Look in the May MathBits for our tribute to Tom.
MCTM is happy to announce that Ellen Delaney has been selected and accepted the position as MCTM’s next Executive Director effective May 1, 2016. Ellen currently works as a Math Consultant with several districts around Minnesota. In the past Ellen was Director for Curriculum, Assessment and Instruction in Anoka Public Schools; worked as an administrator and curriculum coordinator in Spring Lake Park Schools, longtime teacher and Leader in the North St. Paul district; past PAEMST and Minnesota Teacher of the year award winner; Co-Chaired the 2003/2007 Minnesota Standards Writing Committees and is a past President of MCTM.
Please join me in honoring Tom Muchlinski for his amazing work on behalf of MCTM and in welcoming Ellen Delaney to her new position within our organization.
